At Big Sky Preschool Academy we are committed to early educational excellence! We believe that a child first school years are the most important. By laying a sold foundation of math and literacy skills while simultaneously balancing the social and creative needs of each child, we can prepare your child for success! Let's get started together!

Philosophy

At Big Sky Preschool Academy we believe that providing quality educational opportunities at early ages prepares students for the academic rigor of school. To ensure we are providing the highest level of education we will only employ licensed educators through the state of Montana. We also believe in implementing developmentally appropriate research-based curriculums and using current best practices in education. These include:

• Offer ample opportunity for play and socialization

• Keep class sizes sizes small

• Allow for a mixture of small and whole group instructional opportunities

• Provide short (15 minutes or less) direct instruction lessons

• Provide interactive brain breaks

• Maintain structured classroom environments and promote independent behaviors, using positive reinforcement techniques, where students feel valued and loved

• Provide opportunities to enrich all curricular areas, including Language, Literacy, Math, STEM, Art, Music and Physical Health.
